Julian McMahon Joins Faces in the Crowd
Julian McMahon has joined the cast of Faces in the Crowd starring Milla Jovovich.
The movie stars Jovovich as a woman who, after witnessing a murder, wakes in the hospital with an injury resulting in a condition known as “face blindness” (see prosopagnosia) which leaves her unable to recognize faces. While she struggles with her condition, the killer sets out to eliminate her as a witness. McMahon will play a detective and her eventual love interest. Julien Magnat will direct from his own script.
McMahon is best known for his role on TV’s “Nip/Tuck”.
The Fourth Kind Review
In The Fourth Kind, we are introduced to Dr. Abigail Tyler, a psychologist who worked in Nome, Alaska and had a number of patients who seemed to be traumatized by inexplicable events that happened to them in the middle of the night. Some of the patients claimed they had been disturbed by these events since childhood. Dr. Tyler began audio and videotaping her sessions with these patients in an effort to shed some light on what exactly was happening to the people of Nome. The Fourth Kind reenacts these events around the real footage of sessions with Dr. Tyler herself and some of her patients. There are also real audio and video recordings from police car cameras and police interrogation tapes that are vital to the story. Most of the footage that is integrated into the movie comes from incidents that happened in October of the year 2000 but there are also clips from an extensive interview between the film’s writer and director Olatunde Osunsanmi and Dr. Tyler from September 2002. The Fourth Kind Poster
A new poster for The Fourth Kind has been released. The movie is based on true events that have occurred in Nome, Alaska since the 1960’s, where an abnormal number of people have disappeared over the years. Residents in the town have reported incidents of alien sightings and abductions. The FBI has investigated but their findings were inconclusive.
The movie integrates the actors with some real footage from interviews with the people of Nome. It is supposed to be an extremely creepy movie.
I’ll be seeing it next week so I will be sure to let you know my thoughts.

The Fourth Kind Poster
JoBlo.com has the first look at a cool poster for The Fourth Kind. The movie stars Milla Jovovich and is directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi. It’s about a small Alaskan town where many people have gone inexplicably missing since the 1960’s. Despite FBI involvement, the truth behind these disappearances has never been officially uncovered. This has led to unofficial theories that the disappearances are the result of alien abductions.
The movie integrates real footage into the movie that includes witnesses sharing their accounts of their alien interactions. It’s pretty creepy stuff if you ask me.

Trailer for DeNiro/Norton Movie Stone
RopeofSilicon.com has a promo trailer for Stone. The movie stars Robert DeNiro as a corrections officer and Edward Norton as the convict who mindfucks him to get paroled. Milla Jovovich plays Norton’s girlfriend, who fucks DeNiro in the more traditional sense of the word. The movie is directed by John Curran who previously directed Norton in The Painted Veil. I’m pretty sure if you don’t believe in aliens that you will after looking at this trailer. It’s for a movie called The Fourth Kind starring Milla Jovovich. The movie actually integrates the actors with actual archived footage from an ongoing investigation involving a series of unexplained disappearances that have occurred in Nome, Alaska over the last 40 years. The trailer is pretty damn freaky. I’m almost scared to walk home right now.
The Fourth Kind will be in theatres on November 6th. You must take a look at the trailer below. It actually gave me the chills.
