Cyrus and Moore and Laughing out Loud
Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore may possibly star together in an English-language remake of LOL (Laughing Out Loud).
The movie would cast Cyrus as a teenager who, after getting dumped by her more sexually experienced boyfriend, sets her sights on his best friend. Moore would play her divorced mother who is struggling to move on with her own life.
Lisa Azuelos, who directed the original, will write and direct the remake.

Seems to be a lot of posters lately. This evening we have the movie poster for The Last Song starring Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth and Greg Kinnear. The movie, based on best-selling novelist Nicholas Sparks’ forthcoming novel, is set in a small Southern beach town where an estranged father (Kinnear) gets a chance to spend the summer with his reluctant teenaged daughter (Cyrus), who’d rather be home in New York. He tries to reconnect with her through the only thing they have in common – music – in a story of family, friendship, secrets and salvation, along with first loves and second chances. Here’s the trailer for The Last Song based best-selling novelist Nicholas Sparks’ forthcoming novel. The movie is set in a small Southern beach town where an estranged father (Greg Kinnear) gets a chance to spend the summer with his reluctant teenaged daughter (Miley Cyrus), who’d rather be home in New York. Kelly Preston and Liam Hemsworth also star.
I was expecting this preview to be all about Miley Cyrus, but was actually surprised that it isn’t. Instead, it seems to focus more on the Greg Kinnear character and his relationship as a father and ex-husband. Although I’m sure as the movie comes closer to release, that Miley Cyrus’ name will be featured more prominently in order to sell tickets. (No disrespect because I like the guy, but when was the last time you bought a movie ticket to see Greg Kinnear?) Check out the video below.
