Law Abiding Citizen Movie Review
In Law Abiding Citizen, Gerard Butler is Clyde Shelton, a loving husband and father who, early on in the movie, is forced to witness the brutal murder of his wife and daughter. The movie jumps ahead a few years where the murderers have been caught and are on trial. The Philadelphia Assistant District Attorney handling the case, Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx), feels that there is not enough evidence to convict both murderers so he strikes a deal with one of the men where he will testify against his less guilty partner. The accomplice is sentenced to the death penalty and the other killer is charged with third degree murder, whereby he will be eligible for parole in five years. This does not sit well with Clyde. Another poster for Law Abiding Citizen is now online, courtesy of IMPAwards.com. The movie stars Gerard Butler as a guy who seeks revenge on the killers of his family and the assistant D.A. who let helped set them free (played by Jamie Foxx). Earlier in the day Liam posted a trailer for Gamer starring Gerard Butler. Now we have a trailer for another movie starring Mr. Butler called Law Abiding Citizen. This time around, he plays man who has lost his family and seeks revenge on the killers and the assistant district attorney (played by Jamie Foxx) who set them free. One thing I learned from the trailer – he somehow manages to do this while he is in jail! I’m not quite sure how he is going to do it but judging from the clip below, he seems to be doing a pretty good job.
Law Abiding Citizen will be in theatres on October 16th.
