Three New Kick-Ass Posters
MTV has debuted three new posters for Kick-Ass from SXSW. The posters, inspired by classic designs, feature Kick-Ass (Aaron Johnson), Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) and Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz). Why no Nic Cage? Check out the first poster below and give it a click to check out the other two.
New Restricted Kick-Ass Trailer
MySpace has a new restricted trailer for Kick-Ass featuring some new footage from the highly anticipated movie based on the graphic novel by Mark Millar. Check it out below.

Kick-Ass Hit Girl Poster
Empire Online has debuted a new poster for Kick-Ass featuring Chloe Moretz as Hit Girl with the tagline “Cute. Adorable. Deadly.” The movie stars Aaron Johnson as an average teenage comic-book fanboy who decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero named Kick-Ass. The movie also stars Nicolas Cage as Hit Girl’s father, a fellow crimefighter named Big Daddy, Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Red Mist and Mark Strong as the film’s villain.

Kick-Ass opens April 16, 2010.
Kick-Ass International Trailer
MSN has a new international trailer for Kick-Ass which gives us a bit of a twist on the old Spidey proverb that “with great power comes great responsibility”. Instead, Kick-Ass tells us that “with no power comes no responsibility”. Which makes sense considering none of the “heroes” possess super powers. Check out the video below:
Synopsis: Kick-Ass tells the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), a comic-book fanboy who decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name — Kick-Ass — assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There’s only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers whatsoever.
His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes — including an 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo, Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz) and her father, Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage) — and forges a friendship with another fledgling crimefighter, Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). But thanks to the scheming of a local mob boss Frank D’Amico (Mark Strong), that new alliance will be put to the test.
Kick-Ass opens April 16, 2010.

Yahoo! Movies has a new trailer for Kick-Ass which gives us a much better look at our heroes including Aaron Johnson as Kick-Ass, Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Red Mist, Chloe Moretz as Hit Girl and Nicolas Cage as Big Daddy and the villain, Mark Strong as Frank D’Amico (who you’ll probably recognize as the villain from Sherlock Holmes). Red Band Kick-Ass Trailer
Empire (not us) has a new Red Band trailer for Matthew Vaughn’s Kick-Ass featuring the Hit-Girl character (played by Chloe Moretz) seen in the poster released last week. The video also gives us a look at Nicolas Cage who plays her father. I’ll warn you, though. If you are offended by hearing some bad language from a little girl, you might want to steer clear of this trailer. Myself, I found it all rather comical. Can’t wait to see this movie! Check out the goods below.
Kick-Ass opens April 2, 2010.
Kick-Ass’s Hit-Girl Poster
Another poster from Matthew Vaughn’s Kick-Ass has showed up online. This poster features Hit-Girl (aka Mindy Mcready).
As I’ve mentioned before, Kick-Ass is getting tremendous buzz after it showed at the Butt-Numb-A-Thon film marathon in Austin, Texas last week. It received cheers and ovations.
The movie will be in theatres on April 16, 2010.
