Garner and Faris in Bachelorette Party
Pajiba is reporting that Jennifer Garner and Anna Faris will star in The Bachelorette Party.
In the romantic comedy, a high-school teacher organizes a bachelorette party for her uptight cousin who is marrying the teacher’s best male friend. During a bachelorette party, the uptight cousin betrays her fiance with a drunken indiscretion, leaving the teacher to decide where her loyalties lie.
The movie is based on the novel by Karen McCullah Lutz who previously wrote The House Bunny also starring Faris.
TIFF Movie Review: The Invention of Lying
The Invention of Lying stars Ricky Gervais as Mark Bellison, a man who lives in a world where people are incapable of lying. In fact, the word “lie” doesn’t even exist. One day Mark heads on a date with his dream girl Jennifer (Jennifer Garner). Things look bleak from the outset when she tells him that a relationship is unlikely based simply on his looks and his lack of financial security. Sure enough, Mark gets fired from his job and, with only $300 in the bank, is faced with eviction. He heads to the bank to take out his cash to move his belongings out of his apartment, but the bank’s computers are down. Instead he tells them he has $800 in the bank — just enough to pay the rent. Since he couldn’t possibly be lying, the teller forks over the cash and Mark realizes he’s stumbled onto something big. Read more
Invention Of Lying Poster
Cinematical.com has the first look at the second poster for The Invention of Lying. The movie features a bevy of movie stars including Ricky Gervais, Jennifer Garner, Rob Lowe, Jonah Hill, Tina Fey, Jason Bateman, Patrick Stewart and Louis C.K.. Gervais also wrote and co-directed the movie with Matt Robinson.
The story centres on a guy living in a world where no one lies – until he learns how to do it. He then using his new capability to his advantage.
The Invention of Lying will be in theatres on October 2nd but will first premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in a few weeks.

Another Lying Trailer
Another trailer for The Invention of Lying is online. The movie is directed by and stars Ricky Gervais and also includes Jennifer Garner, Jonah Hill, Rob Lowe, Tina Fey, Patrick Stewart and a bunch of others. The movie looks like it’s going to be a good one. Seems like a pretty original idea too. It will be in theatres on September 25th. Check out the funny trailer below.
