Avatar Trailer
The full-length trailer for James Cameron’s Avatar is now online. Beware however – it has subtitles on it from some language that I don’t even recognize.
The trailer really explains the movie quite well. I stayed away from reading anything about this story but the trailer seems to outline the general idea. It’s always got to come down to money and/or a woman, doesn’t it? Even if she is blue.
Avatar will be in theatres on December 18.

New Avatar Pics
A tonne of new pics, like the one above, from James Cameron’s Avatar are online. Does that guy ever smile? A new trailer for the movie debuted in theatres this weekend. I haven’t had a chance to see it yet but apparently there’s a pirated copy of it online. I’m going to wait to see it in the theatre or when it officially hits the internet next week (on October 29th) rather that watch some shitty YouTube version of the trailer. I suggest you do the same.

Avatar Trailer On Friday
ComingSoon.net has confirmed with Fox that a new 3 1/2 minute-long trailer for James Cameron’s Avatar will be in theatres this Friday. The trailer is said to give a much more detailed look at what we can expect from the movie. We’re not yet sure what movie to which it will be attached but movies opening this weekend include Cirque du Freak, Saw VI, Amelia, Astro Boy and Ong Bak 2.
The trailer will not officially be online until October 29th.

Reminder – Avatar Tickets Today!
Just a quick reminder that today is the day that tickets will be made available for Avatar Day. You can get your free tickets by going to AvatarMovie.com at 3:00 pm EST (12 noon PST) and selecting your country and theatre. If you are lucky enough to get tickets, you will receive an email confirmation that you can bring to the theatre, along with photo ID, on August 21st. You will then be able to see a 16-minute sneak peak of James Cameron’s much anticipated Avatar, which will not be in theatres until December 18th.

The First Official Avatar Picture
SlashFilm.com has managed to get their hands on the first official picture from James Cameron’s Avatar. The picture features Sam Worthington’s character, Jake Sully sitting in front of a tank with what appears to be an alien in it. I’m not going to get into the specifics of the picture because I don’t know much about the movie and I don’t want to attempt to talk about it and possibly type some spoilers but if you want to head over to SlashFilm and see what they have to say about the picture, you can click HERE.

Avatar Day Update
On August 21st, 16 minutes of James Cameron’s Avatar will be shown for free in select IMAX 3-D theatres around the world. There will be two screenings – one at 6:00 pm local time and the other at 6:30 pm. It has not been announced which theatres will be showing the footage but that information will be released very soon.
The tickets will be given away for free on Monday, August 17th at 3:00 pm EST (12 noon PST) on the official Avatar website – www.avatarmovie.com. The tickets will be first-come, first-serve and you can be assured they will be gone quickly.
The Avatar Day footage is going to include an introduction from James Cameron, the 16 minutes of footage, the trailer for the Avatar video game and the unveiling of the Mattel action figures for the film.
August 21st is going to be a tough day for me to go to Avatar Day, unless I want to be single again. But it just might be worth it….
New Avatar Poster
A new poster for James Cameron’s Avatar is online. The poster is of Zoe Saldana’s character, Neytiri. I have put up a picture of Zoe minus the Avatar make-up and special effects so you get an idea of what she looks like.
Avatar opens on December 18th. The 24 minutes of footage that was shown at Comic-con in July wowed the crowds so be sure to mark that day on your calendar.
Also remember that on August 21st, there will be 15 minutes of Avatar that will be screened for free on Imax theatres around the world. As soon as we get more information about that, we will be sure to post it.
