New Kick-Ass Poster
A new poster for Kick-Ass has made its way online via MySpace. This coincides with the first trailer for the movie that was unofficially, then officially, released last night. You can check out that trailer by clicking HERE.
I have to say, this film is slowly creeping up the list to be one of my most anticipated movies of 2010. I haven’t heard anything but good things about it. Hopefully it lives up to the hype!

Teaser For Kick-Ass
The teaser for Matthew Vaughn’s Kick-Ass is online and we’ve got it below courtesy of FirstShowing.net. The movie is getting some great early buzz, from both the Comic-Con footage that was shown in July to the review that recently showed up on AintItCool.com that called the movie “by far the best comic book movie I have ever seen“.
The story centres on a high school nerd with no coordination or athletic ability who decides to becomes a superhero. Check out the first teaser for the movie below.
Kick-Ass will be in theatres on April 16, 2010.

Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Nicolas Cage and Chloe Moretz also star. Click the posters below to check ‘em out.
In other Kick-Ass news, Lionsgate has just launched the official site at IAmKick-Ass.com with news that the movie trailer will be online next weekend. Kick-Ass opens April 16th.
Kick-Ass Stuff

A Kick-Ass picture (from EW’s Comic-Con Issue) and an exclusive Kick-Ass poster (courtesy of AICN) have both hit the net as Comic-Con quickly gets closer. The poster will be available only at Comic-Con, where director Matthew Vaughn, series artist John Romita Jr. and some of the cast will be available to autograph it prior to the Kick-Ass presentation this week. Kick-Ass is adapted from the cult comic book about a high school nerd named Dave Lizewski, who decides to become a superhero despite the fact that he has no superpowers, no athletic ability and no coordination. It stars Nicolas Cage, Aaron Johnson, Mark Strong, Lyndsy Fonseca, Christopher Mitz-Plasse and Chloe Moretz. Expect to hear more details about the movie later this week.
Matthew Vaughn has two great movies under his belt – Layer Cake and Stardust – so we can expect good things from this one.
