Batman Really Begins
Friday, April 30, 2004 11:00 PM EDT
If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times, I hate having a job. Don't get me wrong - I like my regular day job - I just hate not being able to be on the site as often as I'd like. All that being said, these are some great pics. If you haven't seem them yet, click here to take a look. And be sure to drop by our Message Boards and let us know what you think....

Peter Pan DVD Giveaway
Friday, April 30, 2004 10:20 AM EDT
Last year, Universal Pictures released Peter Pan in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the book. How did it do? It underwhelmed - to say the very least. In fact, it just barely outgrossed the orginal 1953 Disney version at the Box Office. Next week, the movie comes to DVD where it hopes to find a new life, packed with features including deleted scenes, featurettes and curiously enough, an alternate ending. How does an adaptation of a book get an alternate ending? Is there another lesser-known version of the book out there with the same alternate ending? I guess you'll have to check out the DVD to find out. And ou may just get that chance! We've got a couple of DVDs that we're giving away to two lucky visitors. Click here to enter....

Big Fish DVD Review
Tuesday, April 27, 2004 5:37 PM EDT
Everybody has tall tales. I have mine about the time I fought a torrential rain storm and shot a 7 under par at the mini-putt. Or about the time I built an immense fortune playing the stock market and then managed to lose it all through a series of bizarre circumstances. Or about how I conquered my high school and the countless number of women I slept with along the way. Wait - that's not a tall tale - that's more like a legend. If you like tall tales, then you're going to enjoy Big Fish, the latest movie from Tim Burton. But if tall tales aren't your thing, and you're looking for a great family flick, a story about fathers and sons and redemption, this might not be your cup of tea. Click here for our DVD review....

Sunday, April 11, 2004 1:52 PM EDT
Yeah - I know it's a cheesy headline, but Jesus proved hot at theaters this weekend, rising to the top of the Box Office with an estimated $17 million in ticket sales. What about the weekend's new releases? Would you believe me if I told you that Johnson Family Vacation and The Alamo tied for third place? What's even more amazing is that the per theater average for JFV was actually higher than The Alamo. Meanwhile, The Girl Next Door tanked, ranking #10 with $6 million. How bad is that? It was actually out-earned by The Whole Ten Yards! Click here for more information....
