April's Shower is a romantic comedy of expectation and role-reversal. On the morning of the wedding shower, we meet Alex, a chef, put out by her effort to host the perfect shower and struggling with her complex relationship with the bride to be. One by one, the eclectic guests trickle into Alex's house, bringing their own hilarious insecurities and peculiar life situations. As April, the bride-to-be, arrives, it becomes clear the secret Alex is hiding will affect not just the course of her life, but that of everyone at the shower.
