1966 Bonus Episode - King Pinned, featuring Kingpin, Fantastic
Four Bonus Episode featuring Daredevil, Stan Lee's Soapbox
|
The third DVD in the set of the 1990s
Spider-Man cartoons, Daredevil vs. Spider-Man is by far the most
disappointing. There is actually only 1 two-part episode featuring
both heroes, when they battle their common foe, Kingpin. The other
episodes from this series still have Spidey battling Kingpin, but no
Daredevil to be seen.
There are a couple of bonus cartoons on the disc. One features the
'60s Spider-Man series episode where he battles the Kingpin. The other
is a Fantastic Four episode featuring Daredevil. Both aren't worth
watching more than once. There is also a soapbox with comic legend
Stan Lee, who always prove entertaining, even if we start to find Stan
repeating himself from disc-to-disc.
As I said before, this is the most disappointing of this set to date.
With sparse special features and a weak episode line-up, it won't be
one that I'll be popping back in anytime soon. Hopefully, more will be
released when the Spider-Man sequel hits theatres next year.
