Spooky but not scary, this thriller did
make my heart skip some beats. It wasn't so much the content but the
execution. To pull this off, Sam Raimi injected some ‘Twin Peaks'-like
eeriness and some terrific, if not loud, music cues for his shock
moments. The plot, in itself, wasn't all that special. However, with the
A-list talent they cast came A-list performances, and that made all the
difference.
Looking for great extras on the DVD? Not much here for you then.
Included was a bland cast interview featurette and the theatrical
trailer.
While not a strong story to tell, it was told fabulously.
