Take an "out there" sci-fi
premise, add arcade-like martial arts action, and enhance it with
passable computer effects. Recipe for cool? Not quite, but it will do.
There wasn't much outstanding about this film, and though the cynic in
me smirked during every emotional moment, there really wasn't that
much to condemn either. It more or less was exactly as expected,
though a bit more fighting would have been nice.
No bonus material on this Superbit title.
Almost mainstream, but decidedly still niche.
