Featurette, Inside A Scene, Theatrical Trailer
|
This wonderful drama owed half it's
intensity to the brilliant stylistic choices. From holding the focus
to having a jittery camera, it all facilitated a heightened sense of
realism. That's not to detract from the plot, for it too held my
attention tightly. Add some remarkable performances and lustrous music
and we've got something completely compelling. In fact, there were
several occasions where the film could have ended and would have left
me satisfied. While I can see how some could get lost in all the
dialogue, if you can keep up, you'll be rewarded.
Not much for extras here. There was a great but short
behind-the-scenes featurette, an excerpt from the script and a
trailer. Unfortunately, no commentary.
You may have to concentrate, but it shouldn't take long to hook you
in.
