There was a pretty solid film here,
there really was. Unfortunately, only glimpses of it ever showed
through the slow pacing. The plot driven nature added weight to the
piece, but the material really wasn't strong enough to support itself
without excitement. Moments did shine, but not enough to create an
epic feel. And without the rampant gunfire associated with the genre,
the movie became drawn out and bordered on boring.
Not much for bonus material, just a short promotional featurette and a
trailer. No commentary track.
This film came off much deeper than it needed to be.
