Despite a dated made-for-TV vibe early
on, this gritty crime drama ended up working out nicely. The larger
cast of characters kept things engrossing with enough screen time to
show each personality. The plot itself was well told, though
believability was stretched at times. Story revelations were paced to
allow audiences room to follow, instead of being quickly force-fed
like most movies today. Though some parts could have used some fine
tuning, overall, this film left me satisfied.
The only extra here can be found following the end credits, in the
form of a theatrical trailer. No commentary track.
A solid piece of storytelling.
