Even at it's height in popularity, I had
never been a fan of the Irish caper genre. So with little expectation,
I was surprised when this film failed to even meet them. The light humor
fell flat and action was just about non-existent. The pitiful plot was
by far the worst culprit, lacking sense and leading nowhere. Yes,
there certainly was a very good reason nobody had ever heard of this
disaster.
Bonus material? Five promotional trailers for other Miramax fare and
no commentary track to enlighten us.
If stargazing is your thing, you'll get to see one cash in a paycheck,
and another stumbling while on the rise.
