A charming little comedy that does not
stand out. It really reminded me of the teen comedies of the 80's.
With a preposterous plot (which we can dismiss, since after all, it is
a comedy) this movie did have some decent performances. Though having
very few big laugh moments, this film does carry an air of amusement
throughout.
For extras, we have a behind-the-scenes interviews featurette and a
featurette entitled "The Hair That Ate Hollywood". Deleted
scenes are also included as well as a music video and 2 trailers, one
for Legally Blonde and one for The Princess Bride Special Edition DVD.
As for commentary tracks, there are 2 - a good one from Reese
Witherspoon, director Robert Luketic and producer Marc Platt and a
more non-interactive one from other crew members. A nice addition is a
visual Trivia Track filled with anecdotes reminiscent of pop-up video.
A lot of extras for a lightweight comedy.
