Making-Of Featurettes, Theatrical Trailers
|
I can't really decide if I liked this
sequel more or less than the original. Though the straight forward
comedic style was identical, they didn't exactly follow the earlier
blueprint. Where the predecessor mostly stuck to spoofing one film,
here there were a wide range of things parodied. More ambition did
generate more laughs but it also produced more misses. And those
misses really stood out. Luckily, nothing ever lingers in these films
and it moved right along to the next attempt at funny.
For bonus material we got treated to two substandard featurettes which
consisted of behind-the-scenes interviews. One, which ran twenty-two
minutes was narrated in Spanish and the other was in English and
lasted four minutes. There were also trailers for this and other Fox
films. No commentary track here.
You gotta love nonsense humor at times and if you're in the right
mood, this can surely delight.
