When it first hit theaters, I was
looking forward to it since it seemed like the first "teen
movie" since the brat pack 80's. Now, as you know, teen movies
have become a staple with one coming out monthly. For most, I doubt if
it will become a classic, but I sure as hell enjoyed it.
The only real extra here was an ensemble audio commentary from
writer/directors Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont, producers Jenno
Topping and Betty Thomas (who walked in half way into the movie) and
actor Seth Green. What I like most about these group commentaries is
the greater chance of interesting anecdotes. While this group probably
thought they were funnier than they really were, they seem to have had
fun and do an adequate job of sharing it with us.
