Unconventional to say the least, this
film was something of an enigma. Most every scene was compelling in
one form or another, yet the overall plot was not. Quirkiness then
grew as the conclusion neared, becoming more abstract and even
unnerving. But in the end, as great as the build-up was, the story
just felt lacking.
Extras included eight uninteresting deleted scenes (without comments),
a trailer for this movie, two more for other Coen Brothers films and a
few production photos. No commentary track
Nicely constructed but cumulated into a film too ambiguous to be
satisfying.
