"In Bad Company: An Inside Look" Documentary, Sneak Peeks, THX Optimizer

Slick action, proven film-makers, stars
in lead roles, all the makings of a hit right? Well, it unfortunately
failed. The plot was acceptable premise-wise but the starts and
finishes to the action pieces often felt shortsighted. Characters were
a touch too numerous to follow, several whose purpose was redundant.
But the greatest flaw was the attempted integration of laughs. While
on their own they were funny enough, they simply just didn't belong.
Time and time again, a well built momentum would be awkwardly
interrupted with a misplaced joke. The movie would have been much
better off without them. Just think standard Hollywood hit with some
bad comedy.
Several trailers of other Touchstone offerings and a decent
behind-the-scenes featurette were all that was found in terms of
extras. No commentary track.
A polished look gave credibility to every scene, enough to make the
film watchable.
