Oh Lordy, Lordy, Lordy. I have never scene the first Legally Blonde, and after watching the second, that's probably a good thing. This movie is complete fluff.

Within ten minutes, I knew I was in for an agonizing hour and a half. Lawyer Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon) is on a mission to Washington to create a bill for congress to pass that would free animals from cosmetic testing. Woods stumbled upon cosmetics being tested on animals after finding out that her chihuahua's mother was in a lab being tested. How did she even find this out? Well, she hired a private investigator to locate her dog's biological mother because she wanted to send her a wedding invitation. Yes, you read that correctly.

If you're a guy, you'll probably never even consider watching this movie. If you're a guy with a girlfriend who wants to watch Legally Blonde 2 with you, then you have my condolences.

However, this movie is obviously not for a guy to watch, but rather young girls. And for that target audience, this movie has a certain amount of entertainment that would satisfy such an audience.

The special features are generically average. It contains an audio commentary with Jennifer Coolidge (Stifler's mom) and the other two lacky friends of Witherspoon's character. It's rather plucky, especially with the two lackies (who can't quite remember their names). There is a slew of deleted scenes which were deleted for a reason, and an unfunny gag reel. The featurette is needlessly twenty-minutes long and there is an interactive quiz to see if you're knowledgeable enough to become a member of Delta Nu. All in all, you'd pretty much have to be a fan of the movies to have fun with the special features.

All being said, Witherspoon is a bundle of energy and sparkles, making her carry this movie through its ridiculous plot, succeeding at entertaining it's targeted demographic.

The Movie:  6/10
The Extras:  5/10
