Peter Pan DVD Giveaway

Last year, Universal Pictures released Peter Pan in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the book. How did it do? It underwhelmed - to say the very least. In fact, it just barely outgrossed the orginal 1953 Disney version at the Box Office. Next week, the movie comes to DVD where it hopes to find a new life, packed with features including deleted scenes, featurettes and curiously enough, an alternate ending. How does an adaptation of a book get an alternate ending? Is there another lesser-known version of the book out there with the same alternate ending?
