Warner Bros. Pictures has hired the writing team of Matthew Berry and Eric Abrams to pen the live-action feature adaptation of Cartoon Network's "Johnny Bravo", with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson attached to star.
The movie will have Bravo looking for his long-lost father in a coming-of-age action-comedy. It marks the first time WB has teamed with sister company Cartoon Network on a live-action feature.
Berry and Abrams previously wrote spec "Undercover Elvis" and the "New Muppet Show" pilot for Team Todd and the Henson Co. at Fox Broadcasting last year.
