New Prince of Persia Trailer
MySpace has the new trailer for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. The movie stars Jake Gyllenhaal as a rogue prince who reluctantly joins forces with a mysterious princess (Gemma Arterton) and together, they race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time — a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I have little to no interest in seeing this movie. And this trailer does nothing to change my mind. Call me a cynic, but this movie looks like little more than pre-packaged fluff. Maybe I’m getting a little too old to waste my time on movies like this. Or maybe I’ve seen too many movies that look a whole lot better. There’s just nothing about this movie that appeals to me on any level. And it hurts my head to think this movie will be a success. What is the world coming to.
