Olivia Wilde Joins Cowboys & Aliens
Robert Downey, Jr. was originally supposed to star in Cowboys & Aliens. He dropped out of the project last month and was replaced by Daniel Craig. News now that Olivia Wilde will co-star.
The movie, based on the graphic novel by Fred Van Lente and Andrew Foley, stars Craig as a mysterious gunslinger named Zeke Jackson who is part of an Old West battle between a group of cowboys and Indians. The battle is interrupted when a spaceship crashes. Wilde will play a woman named Ella who joins up with Jackson. Jon Favreau will direct for DreamWorks.
Wilde is best known for her role on the TV show “House”. She will be in theaters later this year in Tron: Legacy.
