Shrek Forever After Photo And Update

USAToday.com has published the first official photo from Shrek Forever After, the fourth installment in the Shrek series and the first one that will be shown in 3-D. The picture features Shrek, who is of course voiced by Mike Myers, and Rumpelstiltskin (voiced by Walt Dorhn).
In the movie, Rumpelstiltskin, who briefly appeared in Shrek 2 & 3, will play a much bigger role. Shrek is now a husband and the father of triplets and is not the menacing ogre who once terrorized the kingdom. He strikes a deal with Rumpelstiltskin that goes sideways and results in an upside-down world where ogres are hunted, Donkey (Eddie Murphy) works at a cart-puller, Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) fights with a pink bow and Rumpelstiltskin rules the kingdom.
Sadly, Shrek Forever After will be the last of the Shrek movies so you can be rest assured that things will wrap up nicely for the ogre and his haphazzard group of misfits.
The first trailer for Shrek 4 will be attached to Avatar on December 18th while the movie hits theatres on May 21, 2010.
