Mulligan Cast In This Beautiful Fantastic
As reported by ScreenDaily.com, Carey Mulligan has been cast in This Beautiful Fantastic, to be directed by Terry Loane with the screenplay by Simon Aboud.
Mulligan will join a cast that includes Tom Wilkinson, Christopher Eccleston, Mackenzie Crook and Joanna Lumley.
This Beautiful Fantastic was recently on The Brit List, which details the best unproduced screenplays in the UK.
ScreenDaily describes the story as follows:
The film will focus on frustrated children’s author Bella Brown, who only leaves her obsessively ordered flat for work at the library. Chronically shy, she has no friends, no family and no life until she falls in with Billy, a hopelessly messy inventor who whirls through the library’s carefully balanced world like a shambolic tornado.
Principal photography for This Beautiful Fantastic will begin in March 2010. The movie will be shot in Edinburgh, Scotland and Cologne, Germany.
