Stan Lee Confirmed For Iron Man 2

There’s a bit of a spoiler here regarding Stan Lee’s appearance in Iron Man 2 so if you don’t want to know it, I suggest you stop reading HERE.
The website NukeTheFridge.com has published an article claiming that Mr. Lee will play none other than Larry King in the upcoming movie. King will be interviewing Tony Stark on Larry King Live about his new black Iron Man suit. I find it kind of odd that this information has been released. Not only is it strange that Larry King isn’t just playing himself, but one of the fun things about watching most of the Marvel superhero movies is trying to find the infamous Stan Lee appearance. Although this seems like one of his more intricate appearances, a surprise Stan Lee sighting in any of the movies always draws a great audience reaction. Since appearing in 2000′s X-Men as a hot dog vendor, Mr. Lee has also made the following appearances:
- a man at the fair in Spider-Man (2002)
- a man at a crossing in Daredevil (2003)
- a security guard in Hulk (2003)
- a man dodging debris in Spider-Man 2 (2004)
- Willie Lumpkin in Fantastic Four (2005)
- a waterhose man in X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)
- a man in Times Square in Spider-Man 3 (2007)
- a man drinking from a bottle in The Incredible Hulk (2008)
I also see that he appeared as a bus driver in an episode of Heroes in 2007. Can’t remember if I knew that or not…
In any case, there’s the latest news from the set of Iron Man 2. The movie will be in theatres on May 7, 2010.
