Columbia Making The Lost Symbol
Columbia Pictures is looking to acquire The Lost Symbol — the upcoming third novel by Dan Brown featuring the Robert Langdon character.
Langdon, played in the movies by Tom Hanks, returns to theaters May 15th in Angels and Demons — also released by Columbia. The first movie, The Da Vinci Code, earned more than $750 million worldwide when it was released in 2006. Ron Howard directed both films.
The Lost Symbol will be published and in stores in September.
