Toronto Film Festival: Day 7

The parties at the Toronto Film Festival (or any Film Festival I guess) are both a blessing and a curse. Sure, it’s fun to hang out and have a couple of drinks, but the long nights soon catch up with you and, if you’re not careful, even just a couple of drinks can do you in.

That’s what happened on Day 6 in Toronto. Long days. Long nights. Little sleep. Not enough food. A couple of beers. And the next morning you feel like dirt. At least I did…

So, Day 7 in Toronto was a bit of a wash. On the positive side, there weren’t a lot of movies on Wednesday to get excited about, so if there was one day this Festival to take a break, this was it.

We were supposed to have interviews for The Lucky Ones but they never happened. Luckily, I got my act together in time to head to Roy Thompson Hall for the Red Carpet arrivals for the film starring Rachel McAdams, Tim Robbins (both of whom were in attendance) and Michael Pena (who was a no-show). More on the evening in another post, but in the meantime, check out the photo below.
