Relativity Takes Voltron
Relativity Media is in negotiations to bring Voltron to the big screen after picking up the movie in turnaround from Fox/New Regency.
The movie, based on the popular Japanese animated TV series of the 1980s, will follow five survivors of an alien attack who band together and end up piloting the five lion-shaped robots that combine and form the massive sword-wielding “Voltron” that helps battle Earth’s invaders.
A director is expected to be announced in the next week.
