Prince Caspian Leads Charge at Box Office

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian was the top movie at the weekend box office earning an estimated $56.5 million. The original Narnia earned $65.5 million when it was released in December 2005.
Falling to 2nd spot was Iron Man which lost only 40% of its audience from last weekend. The movie earned another $31.2 million bringing its 3-week domestic total to more than $220 million.
What Happens in Vegas finished 3rd for the weekend earning $13.8 million. The movie dropped only 30% from last weekend and has now totaled just north of $40 million.
Rounding out the top 5 films were Speed Racer in 4th with $7.6 million (a nearly 60% drop) and Baby Mama in 5th with $4.5 million.
Next weekend see the highly anticipated release of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
