Fannings in My Sister’s Keeper
Dakota and Elle Fanning will star with Cameron Diaz in My Sister’s Keeper for New Line Cinema and director Nick Cassavetes.
In the movie, Elle Fanning will play a young girl who sues for emancipation from her parents. Mom and Dad conceived her as a genetic match with the hope she could prolong her cancer-ridden sister’s life. Jeremy Leven wrote the script based on the novel by Jodi Picoult. Production begins in March in Los Angeles.
The Fanning sisters previously appeared in I Am Sam but Keeper marks the first time they will share screen time.

i think this movie is goin 2 be great!
the Fannings aren’t playing the roles Abigail Breslin is playing the role of Anna, but Cameron Diaz is the Mother in this. The movie will be great hopefully, because the book was the best thing i have ever read.
Actually, Sofia Vassileva is playing Kate, not, God forbid, Dakota Fanning!
Dakota had a hissy fit and quit because she didn’t want to shave her head while Sofia had beautiful waist length blonde hair and shaved it for the movie. I’m glad, seeing as Sofia is a wonderful actress. I’m glad Abigail is playing Anna as well. Though Cameron for Sara makes me concerned.
