McPhee is The Last Caller
“American Idol” runner-up Katharine McPhee will make her feature film debut with the indie dark romantic comedy The Last Caller.
In the movie, McPhee will star as a self-obsessed woman who searches for love, hope and meaning during a few random events with other urban seekers. Michael Albanese wrote the script.
McPhee lost “American Idol” to Taylor Hicks. Her self-titled debut album landed at No. 2 on the Billboard chart while her first single, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow/My Destiny”, debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot Singles chart.
