Two Get Eyed by Alba
Alessandro Nivola and Parker Posey will join Jessica Alba in the English-language remake of The Eye.
The story revolves around a woman who, after a cornea transplant, begins seeing disturbing images that send her on a quest to find out what happened to the eye’s original owner. Danny and Oxide Pang directed the original. David Moreau and Xavier Palud will direct the remake. The movie is being produced by Tom Cruise and producing partner Paula Wagner for Lionsgate. Paramount Vantage has signed on as a co-financing partner.
Nivola stars with John Cusack in the upcoming Grace Is Gone. Posey’s upcoming credits include Broken English and Spring Breakdown.
