De Niro Asks What Just Happened?
Robert De Niro will star in What Just Happened? to be directed by Barry Levinson.
Based on Art Linson’s memoir, the comedy follows Linson’s experiences as a Hollywood producer. De Niro will play Ben, a producer who is going through two weeks of hell as he tries to get a picture made, hanging on to the tattered threads of his career as he tries to maintain his dignity while surviving the mounting humiliations of Hollywood. The movie is expected to feature cameos by Sean Penn and other Hollywood stars. Production will begin in Los Angeles in early-March.
De Niro will be in theaters this weekend in The Good Shepherd which he also directed.
