Gael Garcia Bernal Offered Ultimatum
An offer has gone out to Gael Garcia Bernal to take on the role of villain opposite Matt Damon in The Bourne Ultimatum.
The story centers on Bourne uncovering mysteries of his past, which puts him in the cross-hairs of a superkiller. Joan Allen and Julia Stiles will return for the third film with Paul Greengrass directing. Greengrass also directed the 2nd Bourne film. Shooting began earlier this week in Tangier with locations also including Madrid, Paris, New York, London and Riga.
Bernal is currently in theaters with Michel Gondry’s The Science of Sleep. He stars later this year in Babel with Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett.
