Bennett Miller Directing The Immortalist
Bennett Miller will direct The Immortalist for Paramount Vantage and Brad Pitt’s studio-based Plan B production company.
The futuristic movie, which has yet to be written, is described as a “character-driven drama set in the emerging world of life extension”. Although details of the plot are still under wraps, Miller described the movie as “not a science fiction film … (but) a drama set in the very real world of those pursuing biological immortality.”
The script will be written by Dante Miller, who is also developing a project about Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh.
