Sarah Michelle Gellar is Addicted
Sarah Michelle Gellar has signed to star in the thriller Addicted.
The independently financed project centers on a woman whose husband and brother-in-law both end up in a coma after an accident. When the brother awakes, claiming to be her husband, she must try to understand the reality, suspecting something more sinister is at work. The story is based on the 2002 South Korean film Jungdok. Joel Bergvall and Simon Sandquist will direct with production set to begin in October.
Gellar will appear in The Grudge 2 in October and will star in the supernatural thriller The Return in November. Her upcoming credits also include Southland Tales and The Girls’ Guide to Hunting and Fishing.
