Nick Nolte in Mysteries of Pittsburgh
Nick Nolte will join the cast of The Mysteries of Pittsburgh for writer-director Rawson Marshall Thurber.
The movie stars Jon Foster as Art Bechstein, a recent college graduate trying to escape the clutches of his mobster father (Nolte). Mena Suvari will play Art’s eccentric part-time girlfriend. The story follows the last summer of Art’s youth as he falls into an exhilarating love triangle with a charismatic couple played by Sienna Miller and Peter Sarsgaard. The coming-of-age drama is based on the debut novel by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Chabon. Shooting is currently scheduled to begin September 5th in Pittsburgh.
