Hayden Christensen is a Jumper
Hayden Christensen will replace Tom Sturridge in the big-budget thriller Jumper for director Doug Liman.
The movie, based on the novel by Steven Gould, follows a young man from a broken home who discovers that he has the ability to teleport. In his quest for the man he believes is responsible for the death of his mother, he draws the attention of the National Security Agency and another youth with the same abilities. Samuel L. Jackson plays the NSA agent whil Jamie Bell plays the other “jumper”. Teresa Palmer also stars. David Goyer wrote the original script which was rewritten by Simon Kinberg. Regency Enterprises and 20th Century Fox will finance the production with hopes of turning the story into a trilogy.
Christensen next stars with Sienna Miller in Factory Girl and Jessica Alba in Awake.
