Will Ferrell Going Semi-Pro

Will Ferrell is in negotiations to reunite with Old School screenwriter Scot Armstrong for the comedy Semi-Pro. The movie would be set in the world of 1970s basketball. Production is currently scheduled to begin in February in Minneapolis.

Armstrong also did a rewrite on Elf starring Ferrell. In addition to Semi-Pro, he is also writing sequels to both Old School and Elf.

Ferrell is currently in theaters in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.
