Pink Panther Sequel Planned
With all the delays in getting The Pink Panther into theaters, who knew it’d be such a box office success? (The movie earned $158 million worldwide?!) So, although I had originally thought the re-introduction of the series would begin and end with that movie, it seems now that Sony and MGM are moving forward with a sequel.
Scott Neustadter and Michael M. Weber have been hired to write the script for the sequel with details about the story currently being kept under wraps. Steve Martin has been confirmed to be returning to play Inspector Jacques Clouseau.
