Paltrow May Get Itch
According to The Boston Herald, Gwyneth Paltrow may join Ben Stiller in the Farrelly Brothers’ Seven Day Itch.
The movie stars Stiller as a man who gets married only to discover on his honeymoon that his new bride is nuts. To make matters worse, while on his honeymoon, he meets another woman. Paltrow would play Stiller’s new bride. The Farrellys are interested in Michelle Monaghan to play the love interest. The movie is a remake of the Charles Grodin-Cybill Shepherd romantic comedy The Heartbreak Kid from a screenplay by Neil Simon.
Preproduction on Seven Day Itch is set to begin this summer.
