Selma Blair is Listening
Selma Blair will star in the indie feature The Listening Party.
The movie follows a musician facing his own creative mortality and, like many artists, as inspiration skipped out, liquor and drugs moved in. Around the same time, he acheives some commercial success and a major record label releases his new album. His manager crafts a burgeoning career in the wake of this self-destruction into a buzz-worthy public image. Blair will play the manager. John Chuldenko will direct from a script written by Sean Blythe. Production is set for August in Los Angeles.
Blair’s most recent film credits include In Good Company with Dennis Quaid and Topher Grace and Pretty Persuasion with Evan Rachel Wood. She next stars in Lies and Alibis.
