DJ Qualls in Delta Farce The original Delta Force was actually a decent action flick back in the day. Chuck Norris kicked ass. But then they had to make Delta Force 2. And more shamefully, Delta Force 3 in which Chuck didn’t even bother to star. The original was still pretty damned good. So, as a testament to how much ass Chuck Norris kicked back in the mid-80s, Lionsgate is planning to make Delta Farce.

D.J. Qualls, Keith David and Danny Trejo will star in the comedy opposite Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall. Qualls will play one of three reservists headed for Iraq but mistakenly dropped into Mexico instead. Believing he is in Iraq, he helps liberate a small village from marauding bandits. Larry the Cable Guy and Bell Engvall will play the other two reservists. C.B. Harding will direct.

Qualls last starred in Hustle and Flow. Larry the Cable Guy is currently in theaters voicing the character of Mater in Disney/Pixar’s Cars.
