Fox Greenlights 24 Movie
Twentieth Century Fox has closed a deal to bring 24 to the big screen.
Series creators Robert Cochran and Joel Surnow will write the script with Howard Gordon, who serves as executive producer on the show. At this point there’s no word on whether series star Kiefer Sutherland has signed to star, but Sutherland has been reported as expressing interest in bringing 24 to the big screen.
Work on the script will begin late this summer as as production on the show’s sixth season gets under way. Season six begins in January. A rough sketch of the 24 feature plot has been drafted, but all those involved in the project are keeping a tight lid on details for now.
