Eva Mendes Goes Live!
Eva Mendes will star in the indie feature Live! for director Bill Guttentag.
The movie, seen through the eyes of a documentary film crew, follows an ambitious president of programming (Mendes) who attempts to produce a highly controversial reality TV show in which contestants compete for $5 million playing Russian Roulette with loaded guns live on the air. Shooting is scheduled to being next month in Los Angeles.
Guttentag previously won Best Short Subject Documentary Oscars in 1989 and 2003. Mendes’ upcoming credits include Trust The Man with Billy Crudup and Ghost Rider with Nicolas Cage.
