Chris Tucker is Gangster MD
The Bollywood comedy Munnabhai MBBS will be remade as Gangster MD with Mira Nair directing and Chris Tucker possibly set to star.
Munnabhai MBBS tells the story of a mafia leader who pretends to be a doctor whenever his parents visit him from their village. When his cover is blown, he decides to better himself by enrolling in medical school to become a doctor, which he hopes will also prove himself to the woman he loves and her father — a hospital superintendent.
Filming is expected to begin after Tucker finishes shooting Rush Hour 3 with Jackie Chan in Paris this summer.
